AMSTERDAM, The Netherlands – The Dutch startup WordProof wins the Dutch Blockchain Awards in the category ‘Social Impact’. With this contest, Blockchain Netherlands (BCNL) aims to award the best Dutch blockchain initiatives. The winners were announced on December 4th, at the start of the Dutch Blockchain Week.
Other categories in the Dutch Blockchain Awards are Enterprise Solution, Meaningful Education, Social Impact, Public Solution, Impactful Person, and BCNL Community. The competition, held yearly via Computable, features online sessions with players from the World Economic Forum, World Health Organization (WHO) and more.
WordProof founder Sebastiaan van der Lans: “After the recognition by Europe that WordProof is a valuable addition to the trusted web, it is great to see this vote of confidence by thousands of individuals in the Dutch Blockchain Awards. To achieve a trusted web, we need a holistic ecosystem that involves big tech, policy makers, and consumers. The large number of votes for WordProof indicates interest in more transparency and accountability on the internet by consumers!”
